Dashy
Accessibility
Last updated: 8 June 2026.
Dashy aims to meet WCAG 2.2 AA for production product and public website surfaces.
Design commitments
- Keyboard access for links, buttons, forms, and navigation.
- Visible focus states.
- Readable colour contrast.
- Status information that does not rely on colour alone.
- Responsive layouts that avoid horizontal scrolling on mobile.
Operational dashboard commitments
- Dashboard tiles include text status labels as well as red, amber, and green state colours.
- Public status and display views keep check names visible so screen viewers and wallboard users can identify each component.
- Forms and quick-start flows use labelled fields, visible validation, and plain-language error messages.
- Automated launch checks cover the accessibility statement, public legal pages, sitemap discovery, and security headers before promotion.
Review status
This statement is a working production draft. Dashy should complete a manual accessibility review before paid public traffic, including keyboard navigation, mobile layout, colour contrast, reduced-motion behaviour, and screen-reader spot checks on representative public and authenticated pages.
